We celebrate our diversity. It is our strength, the very essence of our city’s character. CeleBrampton is the kick off to summer when our diverse community comes together to enjoy great food, family fun, culture, heritage, arts and great entertainment, all reflecting who we are as a vibrant city of over 600,000. We hope to see you there.

With planning well underway, the City reminds event goers to save the date, and is also offering a sneak preview of event highlights:

 

Food and Drink NEW!

Main Street North, 11 am – 9 pm

 - The event’s first dedicated food area, highlighting some of Brampton’s best restaurants, as they showcase the true tastes of Brampton with their signature dishes. 

 - Cooking demonstrations by Celebrity Chefs Jason Rosso and Ramveer Brar.

Rose Theatre Patio, 1:30 – 9 pm

 - An extended Rose Theatre Patio area will feature local craft beer, cider and wine for sale.

 

Family Fun

Gage Park, 11 am – 4 pm

 - Free interactive activities, crafts, games and giveaways; including a lumberjack show, hockey shootout, and Beauty and the Brampton Beast meet and greet!


Wellington Street West, 11 am – 4 pm
 - More than 10 bike oriented organizations will offer educational opportunities, free giveaways and prizes.


Main Street South, 11 am – 4 pm NEW!
 - More than 20 fleet vehicles from various City departments will line the street. Visitors can check out fire trucks, Zambonis, dump trucks and more.

 

Culture and entertainment 

Garden Square, 11 am – 9 pm

 - The main stage will the feature the high-energy sounds of Casava, a Beauty and the Beast show, tassa and steel drums, and local dance group showcases.

 - The celebration amps up in the evening and will feature Brampton’s own Unbuttoned; Arts Walk of Fame inductee, Exco Levi; and the headliner, fast-rising northern stars, The Jerry Cans.


Ken Whillans Square, 11 am – 4 pm NEW!
 - Second stage will feature Brampton’s multicultural dance groups, music and entertainment featuring performances by Carabram.


Daily Times Square, 11 am – 4 pm NEW!
 - In collaboration with Brampton Market Artisans, a dedicated area showcasing unique art, one-of-a-kind crafts and interactive demos.

 

Heritage NEW!

PAMA, 11 am – 4 pm

 - In partnership with PAMA and the Brampton Heritage Board, participate in activities, tours, crafts and historical walks through downtown Brampton in celebration of our City’s rich heritage.

 

Community

Queen Street West, 11 am – 4 pm

 - 20 booths showcasing non-profit community groups, promoting the programs and services they provide to residents.

 - In partnership with the Real Canadian Superstore, a community picnic area will be set-up for visitors to eat together and enjoy the sights and sounds of the event.
