The Blue Jays Baseball Academy will be hosting an instructional clinic at Springbrook Park for amateur players aged 8 to 14. Blue Jays Academy. Instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. Each clinic will be four hours in length. During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will cover all skills including: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running. Coaches and parents are invited to come onto the field during the clinic to observe different drills and ask instructors questions to enhance understanding. Each participant will receive a Blue Jays hat, T-shirt and baseball manual. Pizza fundraiser to follow clinic.
