Celebrate Canada Day in downtown Barrie! Every Canada Day, Barrie features live entertainment and family activities in partnership with Promenade Days, Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA)'s street festival, and this year we are excited to get our community involved in celebrating Canada150!

Family Fun Zone in Heritage Park, 1–9pm

Bring the family down to Heritage Park for some Canada Day fun including inflatables, face painting, vendors, exhibits and activities (including Canadian wildlife displays, kids dance), Fire and Glow performance, and more! 

Live Entertainment Downtown, 4–10pm

Free entertainment all day on the Promenade Days stage at Dunlop Street East, including a special lineup of local and regional talent reflecting Canada’s Heritage:
4pm: Tori Hathaway
5pm: Moonfruits
6pm: Canada Day Cake Cutting and Service
6:15pm: The Baytowne Big Band
7:45pm:The White Pine Dancers
9pm: The Mudmen (THE OFFICIAL MUDMEN PAGE)
9:55pm: O’ Canada Sing-a-long

Fireworks over Kempenfelt Bay

Friends and neighbours are invited to gather around the bay to take in the fireworks spectacular at 10pm. **In the event of thunderstorms or heavy winds, the fireworks will be postponed to July 2nd at 10:00pm.**
