What Size Truck do i need?

The two most common ways to determine accurate truck sizing are as follows:

   Number of bedrooms

This is the easiest method to determine truck size, and is generally pretty accurate. If you are more the packrat type, or you have many large pieces of furniture it is important to note that these are not "typical" and you will need a larger truck. The general starting point is this:

2 Bedrooms or Less = 15 Foot Truck

2 - 3 Bedrooms = 20 Foot Truck

4+ Bedrooms = 26 Foot Truck

 TIP:
Don't forget about your outdoor items such as bikes, BBQ's & patio furniture.

   Cubic feet

Instead of using the number of rooms as a guide, some people choose to use the cubic measurements of the truck in their calculations. The general rule of thumb is to allow 150 - 200 cubic feet of truck space per furnished room. Again, these are just guidelines as there are many other factors to consider.
